Softbook Certify is an independent online service for creating, issuing, and verifying certificates. It allows you to generate certificates using a visual editor, send them to recipients in bulk or individually, and provide public links to verify their authenticity.
The service operates independently of the Softbook LMS platform and is suitable for webinar and conference organizers, training centers, HR departments, professional communities, and course creators.
Each issued certificate has a unique serial number and a public verification page. This allows employers or partners to quickly verify the document’s authenticity.
Glossary of terms
- Template — a certificate design with variables (e.g., student name, course title, date) that are automatically filled in during issuance.
- Token — the billing unit of the service. Deduction occurs according to the formula: 1 token = 1 issued certificate.
- Serial number — a unique certificate code (e.g., SB-XXXXX-XXXXX-C) used to verify its authenticity.
- Verify — a public page accessed via a serial number or QR code that confirms the certificate is valid.
- Issue links — a link through which the recipient claims their certificate independently. A token is deducted only when the recipient opens the link for the first time.
- Import — an uploaded file (list) containing recipient data for bulk certificate issuance.
- Ready-made design — one of the 12 email templates where you can change the subject, logo, and title. Available to everyone for free.
- Email builder — a paid module (one-time payment) for creating emails from scratch using a visual builder.
- Content check — the automatic verification of each email before use. Only verified emails can be sent.
- Sender domain — your own domain (e.g., school.com) from which certificate emails are sent. Email distribution is unavailable without a verified domain.
- Test issue — a free certificate with a “TEST – NOT VALID” watermark used to check the layout. It is not valid.
